Who We Are
Our dad immigrated here as a young boy from southern Italy, so we grew up as first-generation Americans with a big sense of community, family, faith, and culture. Thus, our company name derives from our last name D’Amore which means “of love” in Italian!

Why We began?
In addition to our Italian blood, entrepreneurship runs in our veins! Our parents worked together out of college at a UV Ink business founded by our grandfather in the late 80s. As a by-product, entrepreneurship was always an integral part of our lives, and we saw first hand that family never needed to come in second.
It was 2014, five years into the corporate grind, with burnout already on the horizon, that the lectures of our parents finally began to resonate with me/Jess, “having your own business means you can do what you love, while grinding for yourself, and leaving space for a better work/life balance”
Simultaneously, it was the season of life where friends and family were getting married, and reaching out to ask me to create their invitations. It wasn’t hard to begin to fall in love with the design work and process. I realized this was an opportunity to seize the day, and with luck + blessings included, Eric supported the idea to turn our talents into a business, and we teamed up to open Amore Creative in the fall of 2016!
